Solomon Jean Perreaux

Solomon Jean Perreaux

We'd like to introduce you to the newest member of our family: Solomon Jean Perreaux. Easter weekend inspired this eager kid to show up two weeks early, on April 9th, 2012 at 7:50am. Andrea was amazing and showed tremendous spirit and strength through the 5 hours of labour. Although it was entirely a surprise arrival, scrambling to put together a bag and heading to the Midwife clinic at 3:30am, labour was quite peaceful and there were even a few moments between contractions where Andrea nodded off in the tub. Solomon came into this world underwater, 7lbs9oz, 20in, and has been tranquil over these past 24 hours.

Solomon is a Hebrew name that means peace. Jean was the name of Andrea's grandmother (Gibault) who passed away over a year ago and will be pronouced the French masculine way. We are beyond happy that Asher has a brother to share his abundant energy with and we hope his peaceful spirit is a balance in their brotherhood. In the scriptures Solomon is given the gift of wisdom, simply asking for what he needs to do the task God has given him to do. We are grateful for this family God has given us and are blessed to be seeing Jesus making all things new in this Easter season.

love,
James & Andrea, Asher and baby Solomon
